For all those who have not yet mastered the floor/chair transfer by themselves or for those who want to spare their shoulders from time to time, here is a way to do this transfer with the help of someone. It is important for the person helping you to bend their knees at 90 degrees and lean their elbows against their knees for good posture and to avoid injury.
It is advantageous to be able to transfer to the ground and back to your chair independently. This gives you additional possibilities and security if you ever fall when you’re alone. Here is my way of doing it, but know that there are many others!
If, like me, you do not have control over your abs and / or your trunk muscles, the chest belt (or other belt or scarf) will allow you to do different exercises in multiple angles without losing balance. It will keep your trunk firmly in place on your chair. It can also serve you in other situations of your daily life.
To increase the stability of your wheelchair during exercises where we will put our weight forward, it is important to make sure our wheels are facing forward. We can also take the time to move our pelvis well in the bottom of the seat to ensure our weight is as much as possible to the back of the chair.
If you have the space to build one, the bench is a very useful option to avoid a transfer to the ground when you want to do exercises outside your chair. You can also use your bed for several exercises if it is not too soft.
Be sure to use a door that opens in the opposite direction to the direction you pull the rubber band. In this way, the door frame provides security to prevent the door from opening during the exercise. Use a strap in which you will make a knot allowing you to wedge it in the door at the necessary height according to the exercises. You can then put on your elastic band.
For those who, like me, live in a condo where the option of drilling the ceiling to install an attach is not allowed, here is the solution I found. A chin-up bar that simply snaps to the top of a door frame and straps and carabiners to hang a set of Air Yoga including handles at different heights.

Know that BeWheeling is not a weight loss program because it starts well beyond exercise, it is largely your diet that influences your weight. For now, we are focusing on physical activity, but diet could be an addition to Be Wheeling in the future.
Pains
If you have pain, it is best to avoid the exercises and treat them in the first place to avoid making things worse. Consult a health professional as needed. If an exercise causes pain, avoid this one.
